Nelson St
On the Market, Auction 4th February
Nelson Street was a full-scale restoration and modernisation of a 120-year-old former railway villa and it didn’t come easy.
The original home had solid bones, but years of poorly built, non-compliant additions had buried its potential. Those structures were packed with hoarded belongings and waste, hiding what could have been a beautiful character home.
So we stripped it back. Properly.
In the first eight weeks:
• 23 skip bins of waste were removed
• All non-compliant additions were demolished
• The roof was completely replaced
• Plumbing and electrical systems were upgraded
• A full internal and external renovation was underway
Ten weeks later, Nelson Street was transformed.
The finished home is a fully modernised three-bedroom, two-bathroom villa that keeps its original charm while meeting modern living standards. Fully insulated, thoughtfully laid out, and positioned on a generous section with expansive views it’s built for real life, not just pretty photos.
Yes, it came in slightly over budget.
No, I wouldn’t change a thing.
This project proves what I stand for:
See the potential others miss.
Fix problems properly.
Deliver quality that lasts.
